This 2015 custom built casita comes fully furnished and turnkey. You’ll feel like you’ve traveled to a Caribbean paradise in every part of the 1,000 square foot casita, starting with the courtyard. The private front courtyard features some seating in the shade, where you can enjoy the water fountain and gardens. It features ocean views from every room, with many large windows to bring in natural light and the ocean breeze. It also includes high golden pine ceilings and locally made hardwood cabinets. The open concept kitchen and living room open up to the back terrace. The kitchen features granite countertops and a granite island with bar stool seating. It also features hand-crafted Italian tile backsplash, Alabaster pendant lighting, and Frigidaire stainless steel appliances.
The bedroom features a queen bed frame with high-quality linens. The window seat is ideal for reading a good book and hearing the ocean waves. The bedroom also features a dehumidified walk-in closet and an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower. Only the bedroom has air conditioning, but the rest of the rooms have ceiling fans. Between the ceiling fans and the number of windows, the casita gets quality airflow.
For those that like to stay connected, there is high-speed Internet making it easy to stream your favorite TV shows and movies.
This luxury casita is move-in ready. It’s part of a gated community so it provides security. The casita is a smart investment. In 2018, the owners made $35,000 just on renting it out. You’ll also have also an on-site property manager.
If you want to add an additional house and pool, there is a large building site of around 4,000 square feet. The building site also features unobstructed ocean views and colorful sunsets. It’s also surrounded by a rainforest jungle and near a natural creek, a path where Howler and Capuchin Monkeys often occupy. The recorded view assessment states that the property owner must keep ocean and jungle views unobstructed and not block them with any future structures or trees. This way you could live here and continue to rent out the casita.
The building site is hooked up to quality well water. The well concession states that water may be used 24 hours a day for drinking and the pool. However, you can only water plants for up to 12 hours a day from November to March. As of the well report, the water meets the quality regulations for safe drinking water.
Casita with Jungle Rainforest and Ocean Views
One of our favorite parts of this upscale casita is how it is immersed among the lush rainforest and the nearby ocean. You’ll find a canopy of trees and exotic plants around your home. That doesn’t even cover the abundance of wildlife, such as Howler monkeys, hummingbirds, and iridescent Blue Morpho butterflies on-site.

Being only five minutes from the highway means that you are close to the best attractions in Southern Costa Rica. Dominical Beach is within walking distance and is a surfer’s paradise for experienced surfers. Nearby, you’ll also find numerous activities, such as swimming and snorkeling, which you can experience at Manuel Antonio Park. You’ll also immerse yourself in a variety of different animals there, including over 350 different kinds of birds.
