Sarchi is a small town of 65,000 acres, with a population of 46,600 Inhabitants. The topography of the area allows for gentle and fresh temperatures of 72°F almost year-round.

Sarchi is the cradle of the Costa Rican Handcrafted pictograph used originally to decorate the oxcarts. This unique pictograph is part of the Costa Rican culture and is used everywhere, like the amazing décor that it is.

In the decade of 1890, the first production of furniture in chains was born in Sarchí. That's why these days, Sarchí is still well known in Costa Rica for the stunning furniture they produce.
