Casa Las Ranitas completed a beautiful renovation in 2025 with all new natural stone floors, teak cabinetry and furniture, Quartzite island, hand-made tile, and marble counters in all baths. As much as possible we used Costa Rican artisans to create our furniture, lighting and cabinetry. Enjoy indoor to outdoor open plan living. The all new kitchen Is a joy to cook in, with high end appliances including stove, oven, refrigerator, and dishwasher. Live in comfort as the house provides air conditioning, ceiling fans, and strong WIFI throughout.
The house sleeps 12 with three Primary bedrooms (each with King beds and ensuite bathrooms) and one lower level suite with a Queen sized bed, ensuite bath and private entrance. One Primary can be used as a family bedroom with lofted twin beds above the King. Each bedroom has a private terrace. The upstairs Primary bedroom has an enhanced ocean and jungle view.
The outdoor space is nothing less than incredible. With a massive ocean view, large pool, and jacuzzi, you can spend hours just looking out over the expansive jungle landscape with butterflies, humming birds, coaties, monkeys and the Pacific Ocean. Because of the configuration of the house, you can enjoy the sun or the shade all day long, as you cook on the new grill and wood-fired pizza oven. Or go for a stroll among our many mango, lime, and papaya trees.
Casa Las Ranitas provides the best of all worlds. The design combines modern concepts with traditional Costa Rican style. You can spend a phenomenal day lounging at the house and the pool, enjoying a home cooked meal in the fabulous kitchen, or go to Garza, Guiones or Pelada for the surf, fine dining, nightlife, and DJ parties.
